I refer to the provision of mental health services for 2018-19 in
the East
Metropolitan, North Metropolitan, South
Metropolitan, Goldfields, Kimberley, Pilbara, Midwest, Great Southern, South West and
Wheatbelt regions, and I ask: (a) for each of these regions, will the Minister please advise: (i) the total number of hours of community support services provided; and (ii) the total cost of each of the following type of mental health services: (A) prevention activities? (B) community support? (C) community beds? (D) community treatment? (E) hospital based services?

I am advised:
(a) (i) In 2018/19 service providers reported to the Mental Health Commission a total of 209,070 hours of mental health community support service provision.
The table below provides a breakdown of direct hours of community support service provision in each region, including hours that could only be identified as State-wide or Metropolitan wide.
