I refer to Protective Service Officer's (PSO) employed by Western Australia Police, and I ask: (a) how many PSO's are currently employed by FTE and head count; (b) how many PSO's since 1 January 2018 have: (i) resigned; (ii) been terminated; (iii) commenced or concluded training to become police officer's; and (iv) departed employment as a PSO for other reasons; and (c) how much FTE is funded for the employment of PSO's in each of the budget years and forward estimates years: (i) 2018-19; (ii) 2019-20; (iii) 2020-21; and (iv) 2021-22?

The Western Australian Police Force advise the following:
(a) The Western Australia Police Force currently employ 21 Protective Security Officers (PSO).
(b)  (i) 1.
(ii) 0.
(iii) 15 have commenced or concluded training with 1 commencing training in January 2019.
(iv) 3 PSO have transferred into Police Auxiliary Officer positions within the agency.
(c)  (i) 40 FTE.
(ii) 40 FTE.
(iii) 40 FTE.
(iv) 40 FTE.
