I thank the member for some notice of this question. (1)-(3) The information contained in the press release of 29 April 2003 and the answer provided to question without notice 856 of 10 April 2003 is correct.  The Department of Local Government and Regional Development is not investigating whether the qualifications allegedly claimed by the chief executive officer of the City of Joondalup are held by him.  The issue of the CEO’s qualifications is being dealt with only as part of an assessment of complaints about the process used by the City of Joondalup for the selection and appointment of the CEO. The PRESIDENT:  The next question will be asked by Hon Derrick Tomlinson followed by Hon Barbara Scott. Hon Ljiljanna Ravlich:  He is not awake.
