I thank the member for some notice of this question. (1) Yes. (2) Yes. However, the ministry is currently undertaking projects in 15 centres throughout the State. To proceed with additional projects at this time would significantly impact on public housing stock levels, thereby limiting the ability of the Minister for Housing to house people in need. As such, further projects, including Hamilton Hill’s Southwell area, will commence when other projects around the State are finalised. (3) While the specific details of the Hamilton Hill project have not been finalised, it is envisaged that the 315 Homeswest properties in the Southwell area will be included in this project. (4) Yes. Further projects are planned for Forrestfield, Coodanup, Narrogin, Queens Park, Geraldton-Spalding/Waggrakine/Utakarra, South Hedland-Shellborough, and Carnarvon. Hon Simon O’Brien: It has obviously been a great success. Hon TOM STEPHENS: The previous Government, among an extraordinary range of mess and missed opportunities, did some good things as well. This is one.
