For example, in the week Monday to Sunday 23-29 June 2003, the Police Transit Unit had a total of 47 full time and 2 part time staff rostered on duty. These officers were deployed on day and afternoon shift and included 39 patrol staff, 4 administration and intelligence support staff and 4 enquiry team staff. A breakdown of the patrol staff was as follows: Monday 23 June 2 day shift staff assigned to the Perth Concourse, 6 afternoon shift staff assigned to the Currambine/Armadale lines. (a - c) The number of officers available is impacted by various factors, including court duties. For example, in the week Monday to Sunday 23-29 June 2003, the Police Transit Unit had a total of 47 full time and 2 part time staff rostered on duty. These officers were deployed on day and afternoon shift and included 39 patrol staff, 4 administration and intelligence support staff and 4 enquiry team staff.
A breakdown of the patrol staff was as follows:
Monday 23 June 2 day shift staff assigned to the Perth Concourse,
6 afternoon shift staff assigned to the Currambine/Armadale lines.
Tuesday 24 June 4 day shift staff assigned to the Perth Concourse,
