The Department of Housing advises it does not capture waitlist data by electoral region. For the Department's North Metropolitan Region and South East Metropolitan Region, which includes suburbs from the East Metropolitan electoral region, the Department advises that as at 30 June 2013:
(a)
North Metropolitan: 7,070 applications
South East Metropolitan: 3,214 applications
(b)
North Metropolitan: 1,192 applications
South East Metropolitan: 484 applications
(c)
The Department reports 'wait time' by its general waiting list (which includes
'priority' and 'wait turn' applications) and its 'priority' waiting list. Priority applications are not further categorised.
North Metropolitan: 57.14 weeks

South East Metropolitan: 47.71 weeks (median)
