DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH — CORPORATE SMARTRIDER CARDS
I refer to the corporate SmartRider cards issued to Department of Health staff. (1) Can staff issued with a card use TravelEasy to see their usage? (2) Does anyone in the department check to see whether a card was not tagged off at the end of a journey and has been charged a default journey? (3) What action is taken if this occurs? (4) Does the department maintain any statistics on the usage of these cards; and, if yes, will the minister table them for the last six months? (5) On how many occasions were, and what was the total amount charged for, default fares incurred on these cards in the last six months due to the card having not been tagged off at the end of a journey? Hon HELEN MORTON
