The data in Question on Notice 4158 was based on Austroads Vehicle Classification System and Heavy Vehicle Classifications for Reporting Accidents.
From September 2017, all new permits issued by Main Roads require operators of Restricted Access Vehicles (RAV) to report all heavy vehicle incidents. As such, data relating to RAV incidents from September 2017 – June 2018 is as follows:
