(1) The enhancement of FESA resources in the state's South West, including the establishment of a new regional office, was communicated to the South West Regional Operations Advisory Committee (ROAC) at a meeting held in Bunbury on the 17 February 2010.  Fourteen local government representatives were present at the meeting, including six of the seven local governments directly affected by the enhancement.  FESA is currently in the process of writing to each local government outlining the changes.
(2)
(a) The addition of another Regional Director and six extra staff proposed for the South West area has been welcomed.
(b) No formal objections have been received.
