I refer to Infrastructure WA’s Major Infrastructure Proposal Assessment (Office of Major Transport and Infrastructure Delivery – Perth Entertainment and Sporting Precinct Summary Assessment Report), released in February 2026, which raises concerns regarding the reliability of cost estimates, and I ask: (a) what key cost assumptions underpin the current $217.5 million estimate; (b) what contingency allowance is currently included in the project budget, expressed in both dollar and percentage terms; and (c) what assurances can the Minister provide that the project will be delivered within the $217.5 million budget?
