For the Department of Agriculture and Food;

(e) LPG fuelled vehicles are selected based upon the availability of LPG outlets in the operating area and where it suits operational requirements and regional availability. Currently 21.6 per cent of the eligible vehicle fleet operates on LPG fuel.
For the Forest Products Commission:
(a) 164 leased and 2 owned (excludes Heavy Fleet tractors etc.)
(b) (i) 15 passenger vehicles
(ii) 151 commercial vehicles
(c) (i) 45 are petrol and 116 are diesel powered
(ii) 4 are dedicated LPG and 1 is Dual Fuel
(iii) none are powered by other means
(d) (i) 137 are 4 cylinder
(ii) 27 are 6 cylinder
(iii) 2 are V8
(e) Under current Government policy per cent of eligible 6 cylinder vehicles (passenger and 4x2 derivative commercials e.g. Holden or Falcon Utes) are required to be LPG. FPC has 5 out 17 eligible vehicles, so 30 per cent, as LPG. Of the other makes/models on the fleet that are 6 cylinder petrol powered vehicles, none are available from the manufacturer in dual fuel configuration.
