CHILDREN
IN CARE — WHEREABOUTS UNKNOWN
697. Hon NICK GOIRAN to the parliamentary secretary representing the
Minister for Child Protection:
I refer to the minister's
answer to my question without notice on 9 September 2021 in which she informed
the house that as at 31 August 2021 there were 11 children in the care of the
CEO of the department whose whereabouts and/or living arrangements were
recorded as unknown, and that two of those young people are not in regular
contact with their case worker.
(1) For what
period of time have each of those two children been recorded with an unknown
status pertaining to their whereabouts?
(2) What is the
age range of the 11 children?
