The Cook Labor Government is committed to delivering on all its election commitments, including air conditioning upgrades in all 45 schools listed above as part of the Cool the Schools program.
Funding is provided in the 2025-26 Budget to progress staged delivery and planning for school projects. Further funding will be sought through future budget processes as projects progress through the relevant planning and delivery phases. This is standard practice and part of responsible budget management.
