PERTH STADIUM — PEDESTRIAN BRIDGE
761. Mr F.M. LOGAN to the Minister for Transport:
I have a supplementary question. Is
the minister aware that one of the companies that was tendering for, and
desperately needed the work from, the stadium bridge, also built the
award-winning bridge for Elizabeth Quay but has now closed its doors because of
a lack of work? Congratulations!

assurance certificate.

Speaker.
The company has third party quality assurance, and it does not want to
put that at risk, so it has to deliver the steel to the specifications demanded
by the contract, and the government will take delivery if it meets the
specifications.
