The Tariff Adjustment Payment is the subsidy that the government pays to Synergy as the difference between the cost reflective rates and the applicable gazetted tariffs on a monthly basis. As such there is only one category.
(a) The payments reported in 2013-14 represent the payments made to the Electricity Generation and Retail Corporation from the 1 January 2014 to 30 June 2014.
(b) The payments reported in 2014-15 represent the payments made to the Electricity Generation and Retail Corporation for the full financial year.
