In relation to all agencies, departments and trading enterprises within the Deputy Premier’s portfolio of responsibilities, could the Deputy Premier advise: (a) do any of these agencies, departments or trading enterprises maintain a register of gifts or benefits offered to employees but not accepted; (b) if yes to (a), which specific agencies, departments or trading enterprises maintain such a registry; (c) if yes to (a), how long has the register been maintained; (d) if yes to (a), what is the dollar amount at which employees must register an offered gift or benefit; and (e) if yes to (a), through what means or mechanism do employees register a gift or benefit offered to them but not accepted?

(b) Department of Health, Child and Adolescent Health Service, North Metropolitan Health Service, South Metropolitan Health Service, WA Country Health Service and the Health and Disability Service Complaints Office (HaDSCO).

(d) $50 as per the WA Health Acceptance of Gifts Policy and the HaDSCO Gifts and Benefits Policy.
(e) Department of Health - Employees record the fact of a gift having been offered to them in a Gifts Notification Form, which includes a section to be filled in by the employee as to the estimated value of the gift or benefit, and another section, to be completed by the relevant Director or Head of Department, regarding whether the gift or benefit was accepted and, if accepted, what was done with it.
HaDSCO - Employees are required to record that a gift was offered via an electronic record, which includes information relating to the date the gift was offered, who offered the gift, the estimated value of the gift, approval from the Director regarding whether the gift was accepted and what was done with it.
