I thank the honourable Leader of the Opposition for providing some notice of the question. (1) The request for proposal stated in part - Maintain and update monthly the Western Australian Electoral roll data, specific to the Member’s electorate region or district; This information must be sourced from the WA Electoral Commission. Provision of this information from any other source must include the written approval of the owner of the information. The Department of the Premier and Cabinet was seeking the provision of electorate management systems for Western Australian members of Parliament. Advice was also received on 29 September 2005 from the Australia Electoral Commission in relation to the use of commonwealth electoral roll data by Western Australian members of Parliament. I table a copy of this advice from the Australian Electoral Commission. [See paper 2219.] Hon KIM CHANCE : The answer continues - (2) Yes. (3) The tender evaluation panel comprised the following officers: Mr Acky Samata, manager, information technology branch; Mr Peter Audas, client services manager, information technology branch; Mr Kevin Humphrey, assistant manager, entitlements and transport branch; and Mr Greg Warland, contract manager, client procurement services, Department of Treasury and Finance.
