DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH — ALVAN STREET AND CENTRO AVENUE PREMISES LEASE COSTS
I refer to the Department of Health’s Alvan Street and Centro Avenue premises and to the minister’s reluctance last week to provide information regarding the leases on these premises. I remind him that the public has a right to know what is going on. (1) Now that the health department is in the process of moving out of these premises, will the rental agreements on these offices be terminated? (2) If so, when will this occur, and what is the cost of terminating these agreements? (3) Is it true that the rental of offices in Osborne Park either has been or is currently being negotiated to house staff who have moved out of Subiaco and cannot be accommodated in Royal Street? I need more than no, no, nothing. Mr J.A. McGINTY
