I refer to the Minister’s answer to my Question On Notice No. 3172, specifically concerning the Kimberley Empowerment Project and ask: (a) in 2013–2014, what training sessions/programs in the Kimberley were delivered; (b) in 2013–2014, how many training sessions/programs in the Kimberley were delivered; (c) in 2013–2014, in what towns and communities in the Kimberley was the training/programs delivered; (d) in 2013–2014, how many people participated in the training delivered in the Kimberley; (e) in 2013–2014, of the people that participated in the training, how many successfully completed the program; (f) in 2013–2014, how many staff were employed in delivering in the program in the Kimberley; (g) in 2013–2014, how much of the $428,148 funding was allocated to the staff costs including salary, benefits and costs associated with travel and accommodation; and (h) in 2013–2014, how many more community members were reached by providing this additional funding of $428,148?

(a) The 'Kimberley Empowerment, Healing and Leadership Program' (referred to as the Kimberley Empowerment Project in Question On Notice No. 3172) was the training program delivered in the Kimberley. The Kimberley Empowerment, Healing and Leadership Program has three modules (Self, Family and Community) and a train the trainer program.
(b) 12 Kimberley Empowerment, Healing and Leadership Program sessions were delivered and three Train the Trainer programs.
(c) Beagle Bay, One Arm-Point, Fitzroy Crossing, Warmun (Turkey Creek), Wyndham, Kalumburu, Gibb River, Balgo, Billiluna, Mulan, Broome and Halls Creek.
(d-e) 146 people attended the program. Of this, 30 people completed the three modules and the majority of the remaining participants completed the 'Self' module or the 'Self' and 'Family' modules.
(f) Three.
(g) Of the $428,148, approximately $344,230 was allocated to staff wages (including on costs, sub-contractors/agency costs); $48,465 to travel & accommodation and $12,517 for vehicle expenses.
(h) This cannot be accurately reported.
