(1) Comparable total cost of service data is not available for the period from 2002-03 to 2005-06, as the Department of Corrective Services was formed in February 2006 following the split of the former Department of Justice, as such total growth over ten years is unable to be provided.
(2) The average annual rate of growth in Department of Corrective Services' expenses over the past five years, from 2007-08 to 2012-13, was 10.4%.
