I refer to the case of Neil Moore, a twelve-year-old autistic child attending the Kenwick Primary School Special Education Unit. (1) Is this boy a client of the Disability Services Commission? (2) Has the case of the boy’s reported detention in a locked cage been drawn to the attention of the minister or the DSC; and if so, how and by whom? (3) Has the Department of Education and Training sought advice on how to manage this child’s sometimes difficult behaviour; if so, when and what advice was given? (4) If no to (3), has the DSC sought to intervene or offer advice on its own initiative? Hon LJILJANNA RAVLICH
