I am advised that:
The Peel Health Campus (PHC) Health Services Agreement (HSA) initial term was due to expire on 13 August 2018.
On 24 October 2016, Ramsay Health Care (Australia) Pty Ltd was awarded a five year extension of the PHC HSA. The revised terms take effect from 1 July 2018, with a revised expiry date of 13 August 2023. There is no further extension option available post 2023.
Medium term service delivery planning has commenced and will continue throughout 2018.
A decision on the service delivery model and the clinical needs of the region along with the outcome of the Sustainable Health Review will inform the decision regarding the PHC redevelopment requirements beyond 2023.
On confirmation of the above the State will be in a position to proceed in accordance with State Supply Commission Policies.
