STATE FOOTBALL CENTRE
339. Hon PETER COLLIER to the Leader of the House representing the Minister for Sport and
Recreation:
I refer to the proposed $32.5 million state football centre
at Queens Park for soccer, which is to be funded by Football West, the
commonwealth government and the Western Australian government.
(1) Will the
minister confirm whether the commonwealth government has committed $16.25
million toward this project?
(2) Has the Western
Australian government also made a commitment of $16.25 million toward this
project?
(3) If no to (2), has the Western Australian
government committed any funds to this project; and, if not, why not?
