1. As at 1 March 2016, the Department for Child Protection and Family Support (DCPFS) employee allocation was 2,255 FTE.  Please refer to Attachment 1 for a breakdown by directorate and district.
2. (a) 76 FTE.  Refer to Attachment 1.
(b) 13.3 FTE. Details are as follows:
(c) Vacancies not advertised as at 1 March 2016 were subject to a state Government wide recruitment freeze and others were also subject to review with regard to the operational requirements of the business unit.
3. 1,487 FTE. Refer to Attachment 1
4. 62 FTE. Refer to Attachment 1
5. 773 FTE. Refer to Attachment 1
6. 31 FTE.
7. (a) 1,920 FTE were permanent employees.
(b) 282 FTE were on fixed term contract.  Refer to Attachment 2
(8) As at 1 March 2016, nine (9) Senior Child Protection Workers – Family and Domestic Violence were working with WA Police to combat family and domestic violence in regional and rural areas.
(9) In six (6) locations, WA Police and DCPFS officers were co-located.  In the East Kimberley, Pilbara and Wheatbelt, WA Police and DCPFS officers were working in partnership but were not co-located.
