representing the Minister for Water:
I refer to the proposed Mangles Bay
canal estate and marina.
(1) What are the
estimated costs of realigning the Sepia Depression ocean outflow line and the
Lake Richmond overflow drain?
(2) What is the
route of the proposed realignment of the Lake Richmond drain, including the
location of its endpoint?
(3) Have the
proponents requested that the Water Corporation contribute to the cost of
realigning the SDOOL and/or the Lake Richmond overflow drain?
(4) If yes to
(3), what elements of each project have they proposed the Water Corporation pay
for, and what is the cost?

of this question, which I answer on behalf of the Minister for Water.
(1) In July 2013,
the proponents estimated that the deviation costs of all Water Corporation
assets for this project, including the SDOOL and the Lake Richmond overflow
drain, will be $16.5 million. The Water Corporation does not have the current
estimate.
(2) I table the attached document.

(3) Yes; this was part of early
planning considerations.
(4) The Water Corporation has not
made a financial contribution towards this project.
