On an annual basis the Department of Fisheries (DoF) tables an Annual Report and a State of the Fisheries and Aquatic Resources report, in Parliament. These reports provide extensive information regarding the current status of Western Australian aquatic resources including those of major importance to the commercial and recreational fishing sectors.
(1) Information provided to DoF by the fishing industry can be found in the State of the Fisheries and Aquatic Resources report.
(2)-(4) The information being sought can be found in the Department of Fisheries Annual report.
If the Member has a specific question relating to employment in the fishing industry, annual catches or fishing boats, I encourage the Member to be more specific about the information that is being sought and to put the question on notice.
