I refer to an article in The Esperance Express on Tuesday, 22 November 2005, which raised concerns that only two police officers in the Shire of Esperance are on duty at any one time. (1) Is the minister aware of that fact? (2) If yes to (1), will more police officers be placed in Esperance? (3) Given that Esperance is not the only regional town in need of extra officers, will the minister outline her plans to increase police resources in regional Western Australia? Hon JON FORD
