The Minister Replied:
(1-4) The Government has published a notice of intent to establish a marine park at Jurien Bay. Associated with the notice of intent is an indicative management plan, as required by the Conservation and Land Management Act 1984. Upon completion of the public comment period, establishment of the marine park will be considered by the Government, with advice from the Marine Parks and Reserves Authority. Costs associated with the marine park will be determined at that time, when the final proposed zoning and management strategies are known.
