(2) If yes to (1), when will the updated publication be available? (3) If no to (1), for the period 2012-2013 what was the total number of fatalities by: (a) employment type; (b) occupation; (c) employment type (e.g. employed, self-employed apprentice etc.) age group; (d) age group and industry division; and (e) category (e.g. electrocution, falls, mobile plant etc.)?

The Department of Commerce advises:
(1) Yes.
(2) The July 2013 State of the Work Environment Work-related fatalities, Western Australia, 2006-07 to 2012-13, which includes the 2012-13 data, is now being finalised. It is expected that WorkSafe will make the publication publicly available within the next month.
