Green steel—Government projects
605. Mr Shane Love to
the Premier:
I have a
supplementary question. Thank you, Mr Speaker. That is very kind of you.
Is the Premier's
latest thought-bubble announcement around scrap metal simply an admission that
he never had a hope of providing green steel in Western Australia to use in
those projects?
The Speaker: Leader of the National Party, that was
too much preamble.
Mr Shane Love interjected.

I agree with the
Leader of the National Party. Your patience today is almost infinite, Mr
Speaker!
I wonder why the
opposition parties talk this state down. Why do they not have a vision for this
state's future? Why are they critical of any Western Australian who is trying
to stand up and forge a future for this great state and say that we can make
stuff here in WA? We can make it here in WA. We stand by the idea that people
will once again take pride in the words "made in WA". For the life of
me I cannot work out why those opposite continue to be so negative about this
state and talk down everything that is positive about this state and have no
vision for Western Australia. Quite frankly, they have no answers about what
they would do if they were ever in government.
