(1) Has the minister met with WA Plantation Resources Pty Ltd and Australian Railroad Group Pty Ltd to discuss options for the Government to fund infrastructure at North Greenbushes to facilitate road-to-rail freighting of chip logs to the Bunbury port; and, if not, why not? (2) Has the Department of Industry and Resources been involved in facilitating government financial assistance for this industry? (3) Will the Government assist industry - that is, ARG and WAPRES - to ensure that woodchips from the Lambert chip-mill are transported to the Bunbury port by rail? (4) What is the estimated cost of upgrading the Lambert to Greenbushes rail line to ensure safe and efficient use of this public infrastructure? (5) If decisions are made to transport woodchips or logs to Greenbushes or Bunbury, will the Government immediately fund the heavy transport bypass for Bridgetown? (6) What is the estimated cost of the bypass for Bridgetown and is there a timetable for its construction; and, if so, what is the date for completion of the Bridgetown bypass? Hon KEN TRAVERS
