Kevin Shane Banks and Geoffrey Eric Garraway
454. Hon Nick Goiran to
the minister representing the Minister for
Police:
I refer to the minister's
answer on 9 June 2026 to my question without notice regarding the "whereabouts
sought" statements issued last month for Kevin Shane Banks and Geoffrey
Eric Garraway.
(1) Why was Banks apprehended on 27 May
2026 if the basis for the statement was simply "to assist police with
ongoing investigations"?
(2) Were either Banks or Garraway the
subject of an arrest warrant?
(3) If yes to (2), what was the date of
the warrant and why were they wanted for arrest?
(4) Has Garraway now been found?
