Minister for Veterans Issues:
I refer to the Public Sector
Commission website and, in particular, the veterans employment transition
support.
(1) Why is this initiative currently
on hold?
(2) How long has it been on hold
for?
(3) What is the reason that it is on
hold?
(4) What is the time frame for it to
be fully functioning?

AnswerView source ↗

I thank the honourable member for
some notice of the question.
(1)–(4) A
decision was taken by the Public Sector Commission to put the initiative on
hold following the departure of Public Sector Commission employees managing the
initiative. The initiative has been on hold since January 2018. The newly
appointed Public Sector Commissioner is in the process of considering programs
delivered by the commission and will be involved in discussions with the
Minister for Veterans Issues in relation to veterans' transition and
employment.
