LIVE
EXPORT — SHEEP INDUSTRY
392. Mr P.J. RUNDLE to the Premier:
Just under two weeks ago, thousands
of Western Australian farmers gathered to support the live sheep export
industry. Despite claiming to back this industry, not a single Labor MP,
including either the Premier or the Minister for Agriculture and Food, attended
the rally.
(1) Did the Premier direct Labor
caucus members to avoid the rally and withhold support for our farmers?
(2) What event
was so crucial that it prevented the Premier and his minister from attending
the rally to show their support?

(1) No is the answer to the first
question.
(2) I think I was coming back from
Geraldton.
