(1) Health Services advise the number of beds currently available are: a) 666 b) 191 c) 603 d) 372 e) 230 (2) Jun Jul Aug Sep Royal Perth Hospital (RPH) 41.7% 40.3% 38.5% 35.8% * Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital (SCGH) 32.2% 39.6% 27.8% 27.1% Fremantle Hospital (FH) 50.7% 50.2% 47.1% 50.1% Princess Margaret Hospital (PMH) 3.5% 5.2% 4.5% 3.3% * As St John of God is a private hospital, I am assuming that the Member was referring to Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital. The above figures reflect the increasing number of patients, particularly elderly persons, who present at Emergency Departments at our metropolitan tertiary hospitals, and the increase in children attending Princess Margaret Hospital during the winter months. These numbers exclude patients in an ED observation ward.
