Is it not the case that the Premier’s accepting responsibility for road safety is a direct result of the driving record of the Minister for Planning and Infrastructure and the inability to administratively transfer those functions to the responsibility of the Minister Assisting the Minister for Planning and Infrastructure, as originally planned? That is not true. I explained to the Leader of the Opposition the options that the Government had on this matter. I also made it clear that responsibility for road safety rests with the Minister Assisting the Minister for Planning and Infrastructure. That is the system we have now and will have in the future. The assumption behind the Leader of the Opposition’s question is wrong.
