(1)–(2) Programmed monthly patrols on the last Wednesday of each month are conducted to Sandstone incorporating visits to surrounding pastoral leases. A police post is held at the local government authority offices. The patrols are dispatched for the purposes of investigating any outstanding matters and general community engagement. In addition to scheduled patrols, police are dispatched from Mt Magnet in response to reported crime and incidents, dependent on the nature of the offence or incident.
