I refer to revelations on Paul Murray’s 6PR Drive Program on Wednesday, 22 October 2014 that a consumer pole fell over and allegedly caused the 2009 Toodyay fire, and I ask: (a) was the consumer pole checked when re-wired to the new pole recently installed on that street; (b) if yes to (a), was it inspected; (c) if no to (c), why not; (d) was the consumer pole reported as in need of service or replacement; and (e) who conducted the investigation into the cause of the fire?
