The Department of Mines and Petroleum advises:
(a) - (d)
I have been advised by the Department of Mines and Petroleum (DMP) it is not aware of any meetings between DMP's senior executives and Padbury Mining.
However, the Department meets with many organisations, companies and individuals in various forums during the course of its business.
I do not consider the time and cost it would take the Department to provide an answer to these questions in relation to all staff of the Department to be a reasonable or appropriate use of Government resources.
(e) - (h)
Since March 21 2013 no representatives from or for Padbury Mining have met with staff of the Minister for Mines and Petroleum. I am advised, however, that my chief of staff received a phone call on April 12 2014 from Mr Gary Stokes, Managing Director of Padbury Mining, giving him a broad outline of the Padbury Mining proposal.
