I refer to the $1.3 billion Southern Inland Health Initiative's (SIHI) capital works budget for major upgrades to regional hospitals, and I ask:
(a) how much money is proposed to be spent on each of the following hospitals, broken down by hospital as part of the SIHI:
(i) Northam;
(ii) Merredin;
(iii) Narrogin;
(iv) Collie;
(v) Katanning; and
(vi) Manjimup;
(b) what is the expected completion dates for capital works at each of the above hospitals, listed by hospital;
(c) can the Minister provide a brief description of the scope of capital works being undertaken at each of the above hospitals with SIHI funding?

(a) The Southern Inland Health Initiative (SIHI) has an overall budget of $565 million, with a capital component of $32 million over five years. The 2011 SIHI Business Case details the following:
(i) $31.1 million
(ii) $17.4 million plus $9 million currently allocated within the WA Country Health Service Capital Program, bringing the total capital allocation for Merredin to $26.4 million.
(iii) $39.9 million plus $9 million currently held in the WA Country Health Service Capital Program bringing the total capital allocation for Narrogin to $48.9 million.
(iv) $8.6 million
(v) $35.4 million
(vi) $14.9 million
(b) There are no expected completion dates for capital works as the SIHI capital programme is currently in the planning stage.
(c) Not applicable, refer to (b) above.
