I refer to the Minister's answer to Estimates pre-hearing questions in relation to C-series train demisters, and the response saying "We are confident that these issues can be addressed, and the PTA (Public Transport Authority) will continue to work with Alstom to do so", and I ask: (a) what issues have been addressed; (b) what issues are yet to be addressed; and (c) what agreement has been formed between Alstom and the PTA to resolve these issues in terms of: (i) remediation action items; (ii) implementation deadlines; and (iii) cost?

(a)-(c)  The PTA, Alstom and drivers have been working closely to address issues identified by drivers.
A new driver’s seat is currently undergoing a three-month trial; while fixes to the air-conditioning system and radio systems have been deployed.
Ease-of-use improvements to the software onboard continue to be delivered.
