I refer the Minister to the Small Business Commissioner’s report into the Construction Subcontractor Investigation, page 45, and I ask: (a) which subcontractors gave knowledge to Building Management and Works of non-payment prior to some head contractors becoming insolvent; (b) who were the head contractors involved; and (c) why were no steps taken by Building Management and Works to monitor payment performance and check the veracity of statutory declarations after Building Management and Works became aware of non-payment to subcontractors?
