Asia Education Foundation's Direct Grants to Schools
funds. This program is part of the broader $62.4 million
National Asian Languages and Studies in Schools Program
. A professional development and information session for the development of submissions by schools was held by the Department on 14 May 2009.
Proposals from schools may include both Asian Language Studies and Studies of Asia that relate to the four target languages and cultures, including Korean.
