more childcare as well as before and after school
and school holiday care facilities: (i) If yes, what local schools in the Peel region has the Minister or representatives of the Minister met with to progress this commitment; (ii) If yes, where will these childcare, after and holiday care facilities be located within the Peel Region; and (iii) If no, why not?

(a) The McGowan Labor Government made a strong commitment to the Peel region during the election campaign and released the comprehensive Plan for Peel. The Government looks forward to progressing and delivering its commitments and is currently working through the budget process to do so. The planning for Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) provision on public school sites is in development for the Minister’s consideration.  As a part of this work, information will be collected from schools in relation to current OSHC facilities on school sites and where necessary consultation at the local level will be conducted.  Once this work is complete, locations in the Peel region will be known.
