Hon Donna Faragher asks about the funding levels applied for by organisations under the Community Service Grant Program in 2006-07, and requests a list of unsuccessful applicants. Hon Ljiljanna Ravlich responds that organisations have triennial agreements, not annual applications, and refers to previous answers in estimates committee division 69 for details.

COMMUNITY SERVICE GRANT PROGRAM
I refer to the organisations that received grant funding under the community service grant program in 2006-07. (1) What was the level of funding applied for by each of these organisations under this program? (2) Were there any organisations that sought funding but were not successful; and, if yes, will the minister table a list of those organisations and the level of funding that each sought? Hon LJILJANNA RAVLICH

I thank the honourable member for some notice of the question. (1)-(2) Organisations do not apply on an annual basis; rather, they have triennial service agreements with the Office for Children and Youth. A comprehensive review of the program was undertaken in June 2006, and the result of this process was communicated to all organisations in September 2006. Details of the grants were provided in answers to questions 2.1 and 2.2 of estimates committee division 69.
