I ask the member to name them.
Mrs M.H. Roberts :
Midland, Kensington, Armadale —
Mr C.J. BARNETT : A
police officer has been recruited in Midland to take on that position.
Mrs M.H. Roberts :
It's a YLO—youth liaison officer—at the police station.
They recruited a few weeks ago and the police officer has been missing for
three months. The programs have all shut down. The programs have been gone for
three months.
Mr
C.J. BARNETT : The member for Warnbro has repeatedly said that a police
officer has been removed from his PCYC. That is untrue. The member for Midland
is too shrill.
The
SPEAKER : Member for Midland, I have given you a supplementary question. It
is not an opportunity to yell across the chamber.
Mrs
M.H. Roberts : She's not there. She hadn't even visited.
The
SPEAKER : Member for Midland, I formally call you to order for the first
time today.
Mr
C.J. BARNETT : With respect to Midland, a person has been recruited. The
accommodation is substandard. It is a pity the member did not do something
about it as a local member when she was a minister. This government is fixing
up the accommodation so that it is suitable for staff to be employed there.
That is why we are doing it.
As I said, a report is being written
at the moment, and that will be available in the next few weeks.
