EDUCATION
RESOURCES — ARMADALE SCHOOLS
453. Dr A.D. BUTI to the Premier:
I have a
supplementary question. If the Premier cannot name the Armadale schools that
will allegedly benefit from his cuts in education, perhaps he can name the
schools in Armadale that he intends to amalgamate?

AnswerView source ↗

I have not visited
and met with the education leaders in Armadale. I intend to do so.
Dr A.D. Buti : You said you were going to amalgamate, and
the principals are all worried!
Mr C.J. BARNETT : I will tell members one person who will not
be there—the member for Armadale! He will not be there because he will
behave just like this—just as he did when the police minister went out
there, with bad behaviour!
The SPEAKER : We are getting
nowhere.
Dr
A.D. Buti : Don't walk down the main street of Armadale.
The SPEAKER : Thank you very
much! Member for Armadale, I call you to order for the first time.
Mr C.J. BARNETT :
On Friday I did walk down the main street of Armadale. I was welcomed warmly
and met lots of people. They were all looking forward to kicking out the Labor
government in Canberra, and they did.
