The Department of Corrective Services advises: (1) As at 14 July 2014, 19 Dangerous Sex Offenders (DSOs) are monitored in the community via GPS tracking. (2) In the 12 months to 1 May 2014, eight DSOs being monitored via GPS tracking breached a condition of their release order, and of those offenders who breached their release orders, two were returned to prison.
