(a) how many officers have accepted a gift from a private company or individual;
(b) what was the nature of the gift;
(c) what is the name of the individual or private company that offered the gift;
(d) what is the estimated individual value of the gift; and
(e) does the agency have any commercial or financial relationship with the private company or individual, and if so, what is the nature of that commercial or financial relationship?

The following answer applies to the period 1 November 2011 to 28 March 2012 and relates to gifts that are not considered to be
'low value'
i.e. pens, calendars etc.
For Department of Agriculture and Food;
(a) 6
(b) Three bottles of wine, a gift voucher and a box of biscuits.
(c) Agrifresh (WA Family owned Citrus Growing Company), Ellen Negus (private individual), Joanne Greenwood (Exhibition and Publishing Pty Ltd), Stuart Somerville (Vodafone), Justine Jason  (RSM Bird Cameron).
(d) Between $8.50 - $80.00.
(e) No.
For the Forest Products Commission;
(a) 7
(b) Three Christmas hampers, five bottles of wine, five cartons of beer, one bottle of whiskey.
(c)-(d) Greenway Enterprises (Christmas hamper, $40), WRG Pty Ltd (Christmas hamper, $80), Dawson Contracting (Christmas hamper, $250), Auswest Timbers (five bottles of wine, $100), Redmond Sawmill (five cartons of beer, $200), Jarrahwood (bottle of whiskey, $60).
(e) FPC purchases items such as tree guards and pruning shears from Greenway Enterprises. WRG Pty Ltd, Dawson Contracting, Auswest Timbers, Redmond Sawmill, Jarrahwood are all sawmillers.
For Department of Corrective Services;
The following answer applies for gifts that are not considered to be 'low value' i.e. pens, calendars etc.
(a), three officers from the Department of Corrective Services (the Department) have accepted a gift from a private company or individual.
(b) The nature of the three gifts included a bottle of whisky (which was raffled amongst staff with all proceeds going to the Cancer Council), a carafe and six water glasses (used by the Department's staff in the office) and a gift voucher for a meal at a local restaurant.
(c)-(d) Ms Diane Karaselimovic (bottle of whisky, $33); Neverfail Springwater (carafe and glasses, $45); Leanne Morcom, partner of a staff member (gift voucher for a meal at a local restaurant, $150).
(e) The Department has no commercial or financial relationship with the two individuals listed above. The Department has a commercial relationship with Neverfail Springwater, as they supply bottled water to the Department's regional offices.
