ARMADALE RAIL LINE — CLOSURE
1102. Hon TJORN SIBMA to the minister representing the
Minister for Transport:
I refer to the offer of six months'
free public transport on bus replacement services for regular users of the
Armadale line. Considering the minister's claims that the shutdown will
last 18 months, why is only six months' free travel being offered?

AnswerView source ↗

I thank the honourable member for
some notice of the question.
Six months' free travel
will be provided to regular users of the Armadale line. This is expected to
benefit up to 16 700 passengers, with savings up to $1 300.
